These modalities are not like traditional counselling or talking-therapies where problems and stories are mulled over and talked about. They are fast acting powerful techniques for change. Let’s take a look at some common questions.
The intention of any change process is to enable people to be in a significantly more resourceful state at the end than they are at the beginning of the process. So for example, if somebody is experiencing panic attacks NLP can be used to significantly reduce or eliminate those attacks. I ensure that nobody will ever leave a session in a more unresourceful state than when they arrived.
If people have broken a leg they will go to a hospital to get it fixed. If people want to get fit they go to a gym. Psychotherapy is the equivalent of going to the hospital whereas NLP is the equivalent of going to the gym.
The majority of sessions take place over Skype, allowing for anybody with an internet connection to have one. Face-to-Face sessions are available in Glastonbury,UK & Paphos, Cyprus.
There is no simple answer to this question. In most cases the presenting problem can be dealt with in one or two sessions, typically totalling less than 4 hours. However, many clients discover that once their initial problem has been resolved they have the clarity to see what they really want from their life and choose to continue with further coaching to support them achieving their outcomes.
The successful achievement of client outcomes is significantly dependent upon the clients willingness and commitment to address their issues, un-resolved negative emotions and self-limiting beliefs. The practitioner is the ‘tour guide’ who skilfully assists the client to achieve their outcome but ultimately success is dependent on the willingness of the client to do what it takes to move beyond what limits them.
Neuro Linguistic Programming
NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Neuro refers to your neurology; Linguistic refers to language; programming refers to how that neural language functions. In other words, learning NLP is like learning the language of your own mind! NLP, is a new concept for many people. It is a science that focuses on improving peoples’ performance in their personal and professional lives. The benefits of neuro-linguistic programming are so numerous that it is impossible to list all of them.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming is like a user’s manual for the brain, and taking an NLP training is like learning how to become fluent in the language of your mind so that the ever-so-helpful “server” that is your unconscious will finally understand what you actually want out of life.
NLP is the study of excellent communication–both with yourself, and with others. It was developed by modeling excellent communicators and therapists who got results with their clients. NLP is a set of tools and techniques, but it is so much more than that. It is an attitude and a methodology of knowing how to achieve your goals and get results.
Time Line Therapy®
The Time Line is a key element to an understanding of personality. Our memories, our decisions, our experiences good and bad are collected here over time and determine how we relate to the world. How we store memories affects how we experience our lives and how we experience time. When we think of the past, now and future in our mind, we can actually connect the three with an imaginary line.
Time Line Therapy® provides one of the most powerful processes and techniques for personal change and growth by facilitating the elimination of the painful emotions attached to memories or events in the past. TLT also focuses on what we can learn from those events and use what we learn as a resource for the future. TLT techniques and practical processes produce long lasting transformation much quicker than traditional talking-therapies, with a minimum of discomfort to the client.
Some examples of painful emotions are: anger, rage, sadness, hurt, regret, fear, guilt, remorse. TLT also enables you to clear limiting beliefs that can leave you stuck in the past and stops you from creating what you want in your life. Both unwanted negative emotions and limiting beliefs influence every area of our lives.
Freedom from these limiting beliefs and negative emotions leaves us with fresh ground to grow new more positive behaviours enabling us to set and achieve more rewarding and life enriching goals.
ThetaHealing® is a meditative & intuitive healing technique conducted while the client and practitioner are in a theta brainwave state – an altered consciousness where brainwaves are slowed to a relaxed mode. This technique allows the practitioner to access their own deep meditative state of the theta brain wave making it easier to receive intuitive information about a clients health or life situation. The practitioner then works with and through the energy of the theta brainwave to assist the client in transforming and changing the emotions, beliefs and energies that are contributing to their current imbalance. Theta healing can be used for creating physical, emotional, spiritual, or mental healing.
